FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Here are some answers to common questions to help you plan your day with us on the lake. If you still have questions, do not hesitate to contact us!

How do I pay? What is your availability? How much does it cost?

You can view your pricing, live availability, and pay online here: BOOK NOW

How much time should I book?

We recommend at least one half hour per guest for groups participating in water sports to give everyone enough time behind the boat.

What should I bring?

A towel, weather appropriate clothing and layers, a hat (that will not blow off your head), sunglasses and non-spray sunscreen. Feel free to bring your own drinks and non-messy snacks.

What should I NOT bring?

Spray sunscreen will NOT be permitted on the boat, it damages the upholstery (we have boat safe sunscreen available for purchase onboard). Food that will stain (greasy food, strawberries, red wine, chocolate, cheese puffs, etc…). Fake tattoos and unwashed new towels can also leave stains. Glassware, glass containers, and foam coolers will not be permitted. The crew reserves the right to ask you to leave items behind if necessary for safety, cleanliness or environmental concerns. Please note that if necessary, a cleaning fee may be charged after your charter.

Where do we meet?

The meeting details are in your conformation email and depend on the activity you booked. Feel free to call if you have any trouble locating us. Most activities depart from our location at 31 Lovejoy Sands Rd.

What will we have on board for you?

We provide you with all the gear required for your charter including life jackets, boards, skis, and ropes. We will also have complimentary bottles of water on board for you.

Can we bring our own drinks or food?

Yes, our boat has a cooler that we fill with bottled water. Guests are also welcome to bring their own ice and drinks, in their own cooler. No glassware, drinks or food that stains (orange soda, fruit punch, red wine, tomatoes, strawberries, cheese puffs/doritos, takis, etc...) or foam coolers, please. Our crew reserves the right to ask you to save a certain food or drink for after you depart from the boat.

How many people can I bring?

We can host up to 10 passengers per boat in addition to our crew.

Who else will be on the boat?

All of our charters are private for your group. No one other than your invited guests, our captain and crew member will be on the boat with you. Unless you are signing up for one of our event nights or summer camps, of course.

Can we play our own music?

We curate some great playlists, but if you want to use your own, our boat is bluetooth compatible.

Do we have to wear a life jacket?

New Hampshire state law requires anyone 12 years old and younger to wear a life jacket while on the boat. Anyone participating in water sports will be required to wear a CGA life jacket while behind the boat.

Will we get up?

We get this question a lot, and though we have a high success rate and have taught many people over the years who have no experience, this is an athletic activity that requires greater than average coordination, strength and athletic ability. All of these factors are outside of our control. Your coach will work to the best of their ability to provide professional level instruction and it is up the the rider to take that instruction an apply it. In short, there is a possibility you may not get up, but our team will try their best to help you do it!

Which water sport is the easiest?

Tubing, though not a true water sport requires very little athletic ability and is perfect for all ages, sizes and levels of athleticism. Outside of that is is nearly impossible to answer which water sport is easier for each individual. Aspects of one sport which may be easy for one person may be difficult for another. If you would like to explore which may be easiest for you, book enough time to try them all!

Will we get wet even if we aren’t going in the water?

You will be in a boat on a large lake ... so it's possible, especially on windy days, that you may get some spray over the bow of the boat. We do everything we can to minimize it, but it could happen, so please dress accordingly.

Are pets allowed on the boat?

We love our fur baby too, but no pets are allowed on the boat.

What is your cancellation policy?

Standard Cancellation Policy: Our standard cancellation policy applies to all bookings unless otherwise stated in your confirmation email or unless our optional Trip Protection option was selected as indicated in your confirmation email. Cancellations made with at least 72 hours notice qualify for a full refund or free rescheduling to another available time. Cancellations within 72 hours of the scheduled departure time are non-refundable; however, they may be rescheduled only one time if availability permits. Weather-related delays or cancellations are subject to the discretion of the Elevated Wake Co. crew up to the time of departure. Delays may occur if visibility or water conditions present an active safety hazard to the customer or crew, or in the case of active thunder or lightning in the area. We do not delay or cancel for rain or based on unreliable extended weather forecasts for the area. We will notify customers of any weather-related delays and coordinate the new departure time in person or by phone. In the event of extended unsafe weather conditions, the customer will be permitted to reschedule to another available date at no cost.

Optional Trip Protection Policy: The unexpected can always happen, so we offer an option to protect your booking with our highly recommended Trip Protection. Trip Protection may only be added during checkout or by calling (603) 704-4454 within 24 hours of booking. Bookings made within 12 hours of departure are not eligible for Trip Protection.Purchasing Trip Protection overrides our standard 72-hour cancellation policy and allows you to cancel your booking at any time, for any reason, up to 12 hours prior to departure, or reschedule one time up to 6 hours prior to departure. Should you choose to cancel, you will be reimbursed for the full amount of your reservation, less the cost of Trip Protection and processing fees (21% total). Rescheduling will be done at no cost to the customer. Customers must email info@elevatedwakeco.com to cancel or reschedule under this policy so that the request is time stamped.

What determines a weather cancellation?

Weather-related cancellations are subject to crew discretion up to the time of departure and will be rescheduled based on weather conditions. Sessions will not be cancelled solely due to rain. Unless the weather conditions are not safe for driving the boat or being in the water, the session will continue as planned.
